Gordon and Ramsgate Beach

On the drive down from Aberglasslyn we drove through the Sydney suburb of Gordon.

After sailing under the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge; walking on it; and climbing over it, we finally drove over it. We were heading for Ramsgate.

Ramsgate and Ramsgate Beach are on Botony Bay.

We then drove on past Wollongong and had a great easy and fast journey down on some of the best highways in Oz (some even had 3 lanes!!). Then Rachel started to drive and we were back to single lane country roads. We climbed the Macquarrie Pass - steep inclines and hair pin bends all the way up into the Southern Highlands! Lovely rolling country side full of sheep and cattle.

We stopped for lunch at Goulburn which was a delightful town and saw the sheep on our way out.
